Youth in Arts seeks opportunities to build community through the arts by involving youth, parents, teachers and artists in dynamic activities throughout the North Bay Area. We provide hands-on activities throughout the Marin County Fair and host exhibits in our YIA Gallery, open to the public and for free school group tours.
Here are some of our upcoming free, community events:
- Story Time and Sing Along, November 28
- Art Walk Downtown--Exhibit Opening for Regeneration: Teaching Recycled Art, December 14
Youth in Arts also founded the Italian Street Painting Festival, which we produced in downtown San Rafael from 1994-2010. We are unable to continue producing this event--for updates on community efforts to revive the Festival, click here.
