Youth in Arts offers a full season of live music, dance, theater and puppetry performances for preK-8 students through the Youth in Arts Presents season. Most performances are offered at the Marin Center in San Rafael, providing an ideal performing arts field trip opportunity for your students. Shows are selected based upon both their artistic quality and connections to academic curriculum themes.
We can also provide assemblies at your school site. We work with an exclusive roster of assembly performers, most of whom also teach through our Artists in Schools program. Assemblies are smaller scale performances that include ample time for explanation, Q&A and other student interaction.
Youth in Arts most advanced student program—our `Til Dawn teenA Cappellaensemble—is available both for school assemblies and for performances at your community or private event. `Til Dawn also maintains a calendar of public performances, sharing their talent and inspiration at events ranging from the Marin Farmer’s Market to our own Italian Street Painting Festival.
