Erik Peerand, Program Assistant
Erik works with the AIS and VSA arts programs, helping to reach out to school sites and manage program information. Erik plays the piano and bass guitar and has always been passionate about the arts, volunteering for events such as Youth In Arts' Italian Street Painting Festival, in which he has participated for the past 9 years. Diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of autism, Erik is active in the community and an excellent role model for disabled youth. He served as the president of the Larkspur Lions Club and worked as a ranger at Samuel P. Taylor State Park in Marin County.
