Artists in Schools (AIS), Youth in Arts' cornerstone program, brings high quality arts education to students across the Bay Area every year. We place professional Teaching Artists from a variety of backgrounds into the classroom where they work directly with students in visual and performing arts.
Together, they explore imagination, collaboration, identity, and self expression. Our Teaching Artists introduce students to art forms from around the world, offering creative inclusive, culturally rich experiences that reflect and celebrate the many backgrounds of the students we serve.
