United Against Hate Week is a call for seven days of local civic action by people in every community to stop the hate and implicit biases that are a dangerous threat to the safety and civility of our neighborhoods, towns and cities. United Against Hate Week was created by civic leaders in direct response to the sharp rise in expressions of hate in our communities.
Join us at the San Rafael Pop-up Library on September 25th from 5 – 7 pm for a special poster-making contest in honor of United Against Hate Week! Express your creativity and stand up against hate through art. The winning posters will be proudly displayed at San Rafael City Hall.
Youth in Arts’ Art Lab will be open throughout the month for poster-making in support of United Against Hate Week. Stop by anytime to create your own artwork and contribute to the message of unity and inclusion. All materials will be provided, so bring your ideas and join the movement!
