Summer Dance Discovery at Bay Area Discovery Museum
Join Bay Area Discovery Museum (BADM) and Youth in Arts in a remarkable exploration of the diverse yet unifying language of dance. Youth in Arts Mentor Artists and their ensembles will present an array of different cultural dance and movement traditions through interactive performances and workshops in an open air setting at the museum for six consecutive weekends this summer. Dance and explore with us as we learn about rich cultural traditions with each artist showcasing their own artistic practice. Dance and music traditions are central to community, celebration, ritual, and family; join us as we experience the way movement unites us all as citizens of the world.
