From the Arts Unite Us Program, Spring 2020

What does it mean to think outside the lines? What does it mean to be outside the box?

At Youth in Arts, we believe that being an artist means challenging ourselves to see possibilities outside of boundaries. Artists take risks with materials and ideas, and are often more interested in the process rather than the end product.

This exhibition on view in Youth in Arts’ front windows, showcases art created during Spring 2020 as part of Youth in Arts’ Arts Unite Us residency program, which serves students experiencing disabilities. The work comes from several schools in Marin County and includes paintings, drawings and collaborative work.
